October Pumpkins

This October went by in a blink.  I thought there would be a chance to go to a cute pumpkin patch and pick out some pumpkins to decorate and carve.  However, it just never happened. I almost just wanted to skip by the whole thing and just because we never got that “fall” moment at a pumpkin patch.

However, Friday morning on October 30th after a rough start to the morning with attitudes. I decided that it would be a good day to chuck the plans and go find some pumpkins.  The first stop was no good.  Our second stop was a garden center and they had %75 off all their pumpkins.  The kids each took a wagon and picked out the perfect pumpkin and gourds.  I guess sometimes you just need a Plan B, a  wagon and some pumpkins.

We then took the rest of the time,  Leeland painted his pumpkin, Norah and Lillian drew on their pumpkins with sharpie markers and I carved the big pumpkin that Norah picked out.  It was a fun way to spend the day!

  1. Yea Plan B. Such cute pictures of your kiddos. The picture of them all at the table just screams that Love lives here and we are a family and we love being a family and we show it everywhere:)
